Pokémon JP

Almost every new Pokémon set debuts in Japan. Japanese expansions release months before their English versions, and Japan also gets products that never come out in English, like the yearly High Class Packs and Pokémon Center exclusives.

Many collectors prefer the Japanese print for its quality and centering, and the smaller sets with 5-card packs are fun to open.

Japanese cards can't be used at official Play! Pokémon tournaments in Europe, so here they're mostly bought for collecting and opening.
